Steel stairs and metal structures for lift shafts

Complete Construction of Galvanized Steel Stairs, Mezzanines, and Brise-Soleil

ALI6 designed and executed a comprehensive structural project featuring carbon steel stairs, a load-bearing mezzanine, and shading systems, all finished with hot-dip galvanizing and a matte grey-brown (RAL 8019) powder coating.

S355 Steel Elevator Shaft Staircase

Load-bearing structure consisting of two flights with 46 expanded metal steps (120 cm wide, 27 cm tread depth), plus landings and walkways totaling approximately 60 m². The staircase is designed to support loads of up to 400 kg/m² in compliance with NTC 2018 regulations; structural calculations have been filed with the Civil Engineering Authority.

Technical specifications:

• Stringers made of 20×200 mm solid steel plate
• Steps made of Fils 21 and Rombo 43 expanded metal
• Perimeter railing with uprights designed to withstand a horizontal thrust of 100 kg/meter
• Guardrail height: 110 cm

Steel Brise-Soleil for Elevator Shaft Screening

Solar shading system covering approximately 80 m², constructed from 20×40 mm galvanized S275 steel tubes spaced 40 mm apart. Includes three access doors (100×220 cm) to the elevator technical compartments.

Steel Mezzanine for Basement Level

85 m² framed structure (20×5 meters) featuring a composite floor deck made of 8/10 gauge profiled steel sheeting. Designed for loads of up to 600 kg/m² (storage use) with a height of 3.35 meters; installation via base plates and anchor bolts.

S275 Steel Connecting Staircase

Secondary staircase featuring 4 flights (31 steps total), landings, and a 3 m² platform made of profiled steel decking. Width: 120 cm; tread depth: 30 cm; certified for a load of 400 kg/m².
